1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Flow State, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and FlowState.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Description of Service

Flow State is a productivity application designed to help you build focused work habits and manage your tasks effectively. The App provides the following core features:

• Focus Timer — Structured focus sessions with customizable durations, break intervals, and ambient sound options to help you maintain deep work.
• Task Management — Create, organize, and track tasks and projects with priorities, deadlines, and progress indicators.
• Projects & Goals — Group tasks into projects and define long-term goals with milestone tracking.
• Groups — Collaborate with others by forming groups, sharing progress, and participating in group focus sessions.
• Gamification — Earn experience points, level up, unlock achievements, and maintain streaks to stay motivated.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the App, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and complete.
• Keep your password confidential and not share your login credentials with any third party.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@lockinflowstate.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use Flow State only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App, other user accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the App.
• Upload, transmit, or distribute any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure, servers, or networks.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or interact with the App without our prior written consent.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users through group features or any other part of the App.
• Use the App to send spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional content to other users.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates these rules, including removing content, suspending accounts, and reporting violations to law enforcement.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Flow State offers both free and premium tiers:

• Free Tier — Provides access to core features including the focus timer, basic task management, and limited group participation at no cost.
• Premium Subscription — Unlocks advanced features such as detailed analytics, extended session history, unlimited projects and goals, premium ambient sounds, and enhanced group capabilities.

Premium subscriptions are billed through Google Play. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:

1. Billing: Subscription fees are charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.
2. Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
3. Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided.
4. Price Changes: We may change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing period following notice to you.
5. Refunds: Refund requests are handled in accordance with Google Play's refund policies.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its entire contents, features, and functionality — including but not limited to all text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, software, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof — are owned by FlowState, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the App or its content.
• Use the Flow State name, logo, or branding without our prior written permission.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

7. User-Generated Content

The App allows you to create and store content such as tasks, projects, goals, group names, and session notes ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, and you grant FlowState a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the App's services.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to the User Content you submit.
• Your User Content does not infringe upon the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
• Your User Content does not contain unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable material.

We do not actively monitor User Content but reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable at our sole discretion.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms of Service.
• Conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users, third parties, or our business interests.
• Extended periods of inactivity.
• Requests by law enforcement or government agencies.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@lockinflowstate.com or through the account settings within the App. Upon termination:

• Your right to access and use the App will immediately cease.
• We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Any active premium subscription should be cancelled separately through Google Play to avoid further charges.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

FlowState does not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• The results obtained from the use of the App will be accurate or reliable.
• Any defects in the App will be corrected.

Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars (US $50), whichever is greater.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which FlowState operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association. You agree that any arbitration or legal proceeding shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class action or representative proceeding.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
• Notify you through the App or via the email address associated with your account.

Your continued use of the App after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the App and terminate your account.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.
